Educational Programs

2009 National Championships, June 8-13 in Denver CO
Each year, at the same time and place as the USA Boxing National Championships, the ACRP offers a CME program that offers 25 credits for classroom sessions and certification testing. In addtion, with ringside attendance at the boxing events, the program can provide up to 50 CME credits.  A test on the course material is offered that can provide certification in ringside medicine from the American Board of Ringside Medicine. Ringside:
The Ringside Tournament is the largest amateur boxing event in the world and is held annually in Kansas City, MO in August. In 2008, more than 1200 amateur boxers registered and competed. It can provide considerable experience in ringside medicine and interaction with other experienced ringside physicians.
