2010 Ringside Physicians Seminar, July 14-16 at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO
Each year, at the same time and place as the USA Boxing National Championships, the ACRP offers a CME program that offers 25 credits for classroom sessions and certification testing. In addtion, with attendance at ringside during the championships additional CME credits are available. A test on the course material is offered that can provide certification in ringside medicine from the American Board of Ringside Medicine. Ringside:
The Ringside Tournament is the largest amateur boxing event in the world and is held annually in Kansas City, MO in August. This year the tournament will be held August 2-7. In 2009, more than 1000 amateur boxers registered and competed. It can provide considerable experience in ringside medicine and interaction with other experienced ringside physicians.
